SHILLONG, Jan 28: The office of the District Medical & Health Officer, East Khasi Hills, will hold the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunisation Programme (IPPI) 2021 in the district on February 1.
According to a statement, the programme will be held from 9 am-4 pm in the arranged booths throughout the district and will be followed by house-to-house search and coverage activity on the February 2 and 3.
“All parents are requested to bring their children below 5 years of age to the arranged booths in their respective locality for vaccination. Headmen, NGOs, church leaders, etc are also requested to join hands with the department for the success of the programme,” the statement said.
