City college holds int’l webinar

SHILLONG, Feb 1: The departments of Chemistry and Zoology of Sankardev College, in collaboration with its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organised an international webinar ‘Effect of the Pandemic on the Environment and its impact on Climate Change’. The programme was inaugurated by the principal of the College, Dr Eureka FP Lyngdoh, while resource persons included Sumarlin Shangdiar from Taiwan, Dr S Sengupta from G.C. College, Assam, Anumita Roy Choudhury, Executive Director, CSE, Dr Kassian Tshidhigona from Pretoria, South Africa and Prof D Walia, Department of Environmental Studies, NEHU, Shillong. Scholars, academicians and students from India and abroad participated and deliberated on the theme and presentations.
