Road closure
The Executive Engineer, PWD (Roads), Sohra Division, has informed that in the wake of ongoing construction activities along Sohbar-Tharia road, it has been temporarily close for all types of vehicles from 8 am to 12 noon and between 1 pm and 5 pm. However, for emergency purposes, vehicles can play via Ichamati-Bholaganj-Tharia road.

Members of Gorkha Secondary School Alumni Association, 3rd Mile Upper Shillong has condoled the demise of Basanti Rai Limboo, wife of Lt Col. Gagan Dhoj Limboo, resident of Khaprail, Siliguri, who passed away on February 1.
