SHILLONG, Feb 8: Contestants were elected to various posts of the Staff Council of the North-Eastern Hill University Non-teaching Staff Association for a period of two years with effect from the date of sitting of the first Staff Council meeting, a statement issued here informed.
The elected representatives include Dr Wandondor Rynjah Synrem as president, Shongdorlang Diengdoh as vice president, Jonathan Phira Nongbri as general secretary, Danny Marius Synnah as assistant general secretary, Alok Chakrabort as secretary, social welfare, Dannis A Bareh as secretary, library, publicity & publication, John Mario Sohtun as secretary, education & cultural programme, Audrey R Synnah as secretary, recreational facilities and Newmei Alex Huthombou as treasurer besides other executive members.
