HC launches mobile app

SHILLONG, Feb 10: Meghalaya High Court Chief Justice Biswanath Somadder on Wednesday launched a mobile application of the Meghalaya High Court.
According to a statement, the High Court has developed the mobile application to ensure seamless access of live data from Case Information System, which will come in handy not only for litigants and lawyers but also for the citizenry.
The launch event was attended by Justice RV More, Justice HS Thangkhiew and Justice W Diengdoh, among others, at the conference room of Meghalaya High Court.
“The modules that are available in the application are causelist, display board, case status, judgment/ orders, certified copy status, free text search and filing defect status and the mobile application is available in App Store and Playstore,” the statement said.
