SHILLONG, Feb 17: Rangkynsai SC defeated NFU by 6 wickets in a Super Division cricket match here at the NEPA grounds on Wednesday. Rangkynsai won the toss and put NFU to bat. NFU scored 200 for the loss of 7 wickets in 31 overs. Batsmen Biprodeep Das Gupta (71 runs off 64 balls) and Purojit Mondol (41 runs off 50 balls) were the top scorers for NFU. Pankaj Sharma (2/51) and Nick Dann (1/26) were the pick of the bowlers for Rangkynsai. In reply Rangkynsai chased the target in 29.1 overs. Pankaj Yadav top scored with 74 runs off 59 balls and was well complemented by Nick, who made 52 runs off 34 balls. For NFU, Biprodeep (2/44) and Purojit(1/36) shone with the ball as well. Pankaj Yadav for adjudged the Man of the Match for his brilliant batting.
