SHILLONG, Feb 22: Rangkynsai CC defeated Riatsamthiah CC by 49 runs in a Super Division Shillong Cricket League match here at the NEPA grounds on Monday. Riatsamthiah won the toss and elected to field first. Rangkynsai scored 190 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 25.3 overs. Batsmen Nick Danm (47 runs off 31 balls) and Pynhun Kharnabi (24 runs off 47 balls) were the top scorers for Rangkynsai. Anish Charak of Riatsamthiah claimed 3 wickets in 6 overs while giving away 34 runs. He was supported well by Adarsh Joshi (3/33). In reply, Riatsamthiah scored 141 for the loss of 10 wickets in 26 overs. Anish (48 runs off 24 balls) top scored for Riatsamthiah. Pankaj Sharma (4/22) was the top wicket-taker for Rangkynsai. He was adjudged the Man of the Match.
