Body recovered from quarry

Nongpoh, March 10: Police on Wednesday recovered the body of an elderly man from a stone quarry at Baridua village under Khanapara PS in Ri Bhoi.
Police suspect that the unidentified victim fell from a cliff and died on the spot.
However, taking no chances, police have begun investigation to find the exact cause of death as well as to identity the deceased.
