MGPS Jr & Amateur Tour from March 20

SHILLONG, March 18: The MGPS Junior and Amateur Tour, which is expected to be the first ever golf tour of North East India will commence on March 20 at the pristine Shillong Golf Course. The tour is conceptualised and conducted by the Meghalaya Golf Promoters’ Society (MGPS) which is the state association for golf in Meghalaya in collaboration with Shillong Club Ltd. (golf section). The event will be played in various formats and will feature a number of events such as the Longest Drive Challenge, Parent and Child event besides other audience engaging activities.The event is being supported by Golf Trade and Champ for Life Academy. The society has further informed that all COVID-19 safety protocols will be in compliance during the event.
