SCL Super Division: Langsning thrash NFU by 9 wickets

SHILLONG, March 18: Langsning CC outclassed NFU CC to win by 9 wickets in a Shillon Cricket League Super Division match here on Thursday. Langsning made the right decision of putting NFU in to bat first after winning the toss as they restricted them to a paltry 69 all out in 15.4 overs. Joydeep Shill with a painstaking 14 coming off 34 balls was the top scorer for NFU followed by Bapon Dutta (10). Man of the Match Deibormi Rangad bowled an outstanding spell, picking up spectacular figures of 3/0 in 2.4 overs while teammate Andelbert Shangpliang picked up 3/17 in 5 overs. In reply, Langsning tore apart the NFU new ball attack to score 72/1 in 10.5 overs With Dathew Syngkon scoring a rapid 50 off only 25 balls along with a patient 11 by Michael Makdoh. Asif Khan was the lone wicket-taker for NFU returning figures of 1/11.
