SHILLONG, March 20: The sports department of the North-Eastern Hill University organised the 1st NEHU Half Marathon 2021 & Fun Run on March 20 within the NEHU permanent campus in Shillong under the ‘Fit India Campaign.’ Both events were flagged off by the Pro Vice-Chancellor of NEHU, Shillong Prof. H. Lamin. The event ended with a presentation ceremony where the winners were handed cash prizes and mementos besides finishers’ medals to all the participants. In the men’s half marathon, Kressterjune Pathaw finished first while Kyntimon Marwein took first place in the women’s half marathon. Didakamiwan Khonglah won the Women’s Fun Run event while Dapmain Rani was the winner of the Men’s Fun Run event.
