SHILLONG, March 20: Langsning CC secured a 48 run victory over Titans CC in a Shillong Cricket League Super Division match here on Saturday. Titans won the toss and opted to field first as Langsning managed a total of 168 runs before being bowled out in 31.5 overs. Man of the Match Larry Warjri notched up a solid knock of 67 runs that came off 51 balls. Sanvert Kurkalang also contributed 40 although the rest of the batting lineup were unable to come up with big scores. Md Allaudin took 5/21 off 7 overs for the Titans while Sumit Gurung returned with figures of 2/41. Chasing a fairly modest target, the Titans suffered an early collapse, losing wickets regularly before being bundled out for 120 in 24.4 overs. Srikant Pradhan was the top scorer with 25 while Samir Shah scored 19 runs. Langsning’s Prolin Phanjom was the pick of Langsning’s bowlers with figures of 4/24 in his 7 overs.
