BJP to contest Rajabala bypoll

SHILLONG, March 21: The state BJP on Sunday confirmed that the party will contest the bypoll to the Rajabala seat which fell vacant following the demise of sitting Congress legislator, Dr Azad Aman.
Speaking to The Shillong Times on Sunday, BJP state president, Ernest Mawrie, said that the party has already started to prepare the ground work for the bye-election.
He further informed that the process to identify the party candidate has begun, adding that they will soon announce the candidate for the bye-election.
