SCL: Royal CC defeat Matrisangha in 1st Division match

SHILLONG, March 28: Royal CC notched up a 58 run win over Matrisangha in their Shillong Cricket League 1st Division match here on Sunday. Winning the toss and opting to field first, Matrisangha restricted Royal CC to 151 all out in 23 overs. Bikash Yadav top scored with 35 runs while Sandeep Roy added 29. Kishor Bhowmick took 2/17 while Ravi Sunar also picked up 2 wickets. In reply, Matrisangha were bowled out for a paltry 93 in 23.3 overs. Vishal (27) and Shivankant Dubey (19) were the top scorers. Man of the Match Abhishek Kumar was the pick of the bowlers scalping 4/9 in 6 overs while Thangkan Sangma returned figures of 3/23.
