SCA Super Division: Rangkynsai in semis

SHILLONG, April 20: Rangkynsai progressed to the final of the Shillong Cricket Association Super Division after registering a comprehensive 99-run win over Nongmensong at the SCA cricket ground on Tuesday.
Nongmynsong put their opponents in to bat first after winning the toss. Rangkynsai were bowled out for only 186 runs in 38.3 overs, giving Nongmensong hopes for a final berth. Man of the Match Ajay Duhan top scored with 63 while Pankaj yadav contributed 43 runs. Saviah Blah picked up 4/46 in 7.3 overs.
What appeared to be a fairly achieveable target for Nongmensong subsequently turned into an unattainable task as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Nongmenson were eventually bundled out for just 87 in 27.2 overs. Jaskirat Sachdeva was the top scorer with his 27. Nick Dann also picked up four wickets for Rangkynsai, conceding 22 runs in 5.2 overs while teammate Duhan excelled with the ball too, returning figures of 3/20 in 8 overs.
In the first semifinal of the SCA First Division, Sunrise will take on MLP.
