NONGSTOIN, April 21: Charged with molesting and luring a 15-year-old girl from Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills, one Andreas Charles Gare of Mawkawah in Nongstoin has been arrested by Nongstoin Police.
The minor’s family alleged that the accused lured the girl by waiting for her when she would make a move for her school in the morning.
It was also alleged that he took the girl around in a vehicle (ML 06 A 2196) and molested her.
On April 15, around 8 pm, the minor was missing from home and the family members went searching for her. They reportedly found her with the accused inside his vehicle. However, on seeing the family, he sent her away and fled the scene.
