London, April 25: English football’s largest governing bodies and organisations, including the Football Association (FA), Premier League and English Football League (EFL), have announced a social media boycott between April 30 and May 3 following recent incidents of online abuse aimed at footballers. The social media boycott from April 30 to May 3 comes in response to “ongoing and sustained discriminatory abuse received online by players and others. (IANS)
