Body found at Khyndai Lad

SHILLONG, May 3: An unidentified body of a male was found at MTC in Khyndai Lad on March 3, the East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police said in a statement issued here on Monday.
The body was shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong, where he was declared brought dead. Accordingly, inquest and other legal formalities were observed and the body was sent to the SDM&HO Civil Hospital, Shillong, for conducting autopsy. The cadaver has been kept at Civil Hospital Morgue Room for identification and claim.
The body has been described as 5.5 ft tall and of thin build. His face is lean and has swarthy complexion.
The SP has asked all concerned who can identify the deceased to contact 2224818/2224400.
