SHILLONG, May 24: Opposition chief whip, PT Sawkmie, has expressed concern and shock over an incident during which a COVID-positive patient and a negative patient were allegedly kept together in NEIGRIHMS.
Taking a strong note of the incident, the MLA said that a COVID-positive person and a negative person from a Shillong-based family were kept together in the institute.
Expressing dismay, the Opposition legislator said that NEIGRIHMS should be more cautious, especially at a time when COVID-19 cases are surging in the state and the capital city.
