WKH gets 12-hr relaxation; WGH extends curbs

NONGSTOIN/TURA, June 6: West Khasi Hills will witness a complete relaxation from lockdown on Monday between 5 am and 5 pm, according to an order by District Magistrate T Lyngwa.
The district magistrate said that lockdown will come into force at 5 pm till 5 am of June 14, as declared earlier.
Order extension
Meanwhile in West Garo Hills, the district administration has extended the lockdown from 5 am of June 7 till 5 am of June 14 with the same restricted and permitted activities as in the order passed earlier on May 30.
According to the order issued in this regard by West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Ram Singh, essential shops in Tura Main Bazar areas and other parts of the district will open from Monday to Friday from 8 am till 1 pm while the non-essential shops will open on Tuesday and Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm.
