MCA conducts Online State Level Chess Tournaments 2021

SHILLONG, June 8: The Meghalaya Chess Association on Monday conducted the Online State Level Chess Tournaments 2021 for student ages groups of Under 18, 16, 14, 12 and Under-10 through the online chess platform tornelo.com. Several winners were selected represent the state in the National Online Age Group Chess Championship 2021 organised by the All India Chess Federation scheduled to commence from 10th June onwards. The players include Morning Star Phawa and Saksham Shukla (U-18), Gargee Chakravarty (U-16), Anubhav Sharma and Zohar Agastya N Rynjah (U-14), Armaan Negi and Jayden Mewan Lakiang (U-12), Hridhaan Swer and Ryan Swer (U-10). Players interested in participating in online training and Rating Tournaments can register themselves with the Meghalaya Chess Association via SMS to 8258898775 or email at [email protected].
