Infant’s body recovered in city

SHILLONG, June 17: Police have recovered the decomposed body of an infant from Madanrting.
A statement issued by police on Thursday said that the body was recovered from near the office of the Madanrting Rangbah Shnong on June 11.
The body has been kept at the Shillong Civil Hospital morgue for identification, police said. Concerned people have been asked to call the numbers 2222214 and 2222215.
