NONGPOH, June 26: Ri Bhoi Deputy Commissioner has directed all shops/establishments/local taxis/auto-rickshaws/maxi cabs and buses to put on display their vaccination status.
In a statement, the DC said that for the ones who have been inoculated against COVID-19, a sign saying ‘VACCINATED’ along with names and photographs should be displayed.
“Similarly to those shops/establishment/local taxis/auto-rickshaws/ maxi cabs and buses where the employees and staff of the concerned shop/establishment or the concerned drivers, conductor or helpers of commercial vehicles, who are not vaccinated or choose not to get vaccinated, should display prominently at the conspicuous place a sign clearly indicating ‘NOT VACCINATED’ with names and photographs,” the directive said.
