Body of murder victim found in NGH’s Mendal

TURA, Aug 1: The body of a 27-year-old man with multiple injuries was on Sunday morning recovered from his home in Mendal by police in North Garo Hills.
According to sources, personnel of Bajengdoba Police Station were informed by villagers that the body of one Daniel Sangma, son of Emrel Rabha, was found lying at his home near NH-51 at Mendal. Police rushed to the spot and conducted inquest after which it was handed over to Mendipathar PHC for post-mortem.
Police have begun investigation into the incident to identify the perpetrators of the crime.
