Conclave
The CM’s E-Championship Conclave will be organised on Monday at 10:30 am at the State Convention Centre, Shillong, which will involve group sessions, award ceremony and group activities et al. “The programme will also include ‘Graduation’ of the Top 50 Entrepreneurs of the CM’s E-CC 1.0 and ‘Onboarding’ of the newly selected Top 50 Entrepreneurs of the CM’s E-CC 2.0,” a statement in this regard said.

PDS quota
The SDO (Supply), Amlarem, has informed that NFSA (AAY & PHH) and non-NFSA quota of rice for August has been released. While AAY quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 35 kg per household at Rs 3 per kg, PHH quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 5 kg per head at Rs 3 per kg and non-NFSA rice will be distributed at rate not exceeding Rs 14 per kg.

Unclaimed body
A body of a man was found hanging from a tree at Ruka near Tishang Forest Nongbri BP No. 1255/17-S. According to a police statement on Thursday, the deceased is aged 55-69 years old and is approximately 5.5-feet tall; his complexion is dark, face is long and built is medium. He was wearing a mix-coloured t-shirt, white vest, a mix-coloured lungi and a pair of slippers. Meanwhile, the body has been kept at Shillong Civil Hospital morgue after autopsy and inquest. All concerned have been asked to call 8416070670 or 0364-22222214/22222215 for identification process.

Rimaya Manners was wrongly mentioned as the CEO of the Jowai Municipal Board (JMB). Manners is currently posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shillong. The incumbent CEO of JMB is PK Boro. The inadvertent error is regretted.
