Man arrested over physical relationship with minor in SWKH

MAWKYRWAT, Sep 1: Police have arrested a man from Rangthong village, South West Khasi Hills District, identified as Eveningstar Shangdiar (30) for allegedly having a physical relationship with a minor girl.
The minor’s mother had earlier filed an FIR against the accused in which she accused him of luring the girl into being in a physical relationship on the pretext of marrying her, police said.
Eveningstar Shangdiar has been sent to judicial custody.
