TURA, Sep 2: Barely two days after educational institutes in the state reopened after the COVID-induced break, Sherwood School in Tura on Thursday had to abruptly suspend the classes after one of its students tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the school principal, Tyrone D Brass, a student from Class 10 had tested positive for the virus on Thursday afternoon. “He did not attend class today. However, the medical officials have advised us to suspend all classes,” Tyrone said.
According to the principal, all students of class 10 will undergo COVID test on Monday and an advisory in this regard has also been issued to the parents/guardians of the students.
