Rymphang K Rynjah has been awarded PhD by the North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, for his thesis ‘War Khasi and War Jaintia: A Comparative Syntactic Study’, the research work of which he completed under the supervision of Dr. Saralin A Lyngdoh, Department of Linguistics, NEHU. He is the son of H Kharkongor and A Rynjah and the grandson of Setina Rynjah.
