SHILLONG, Sep 18: A part of the commemoration of 71st birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and under ‘Seva aur Samarpan Abhiyan’, BJP MLA and Labour Minister Sanbor Shullai has informed that he will soon launch placement cell in Labour department for accommodation of local youths in private establishments.
On the other hand, BJP Meghalaya State Mahila Morcha on Friday organised a programme at the BJP Office to celebrate the prime minister’s birthday.
According to a statement, the Mahila Morcha celebrated the day with slum children who performed songs and dance. Later, a cake was also cut while fruits and food packets, along with eco-friendly bags, were distributed.
