Assault
Burom Thma of Panaliar Jowai, West Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on September 20, around 10 pm, 10-12 people led by Mewan Dkhar of Mihmyntdu village in the district assaulted the complainant and two others with iron rods and wooden sticks at Wanshrah Lumpyrtuh in Mihmyntdu.

Bike missing
Tokyo R Sangma of Sibbari village in South Garo Hills lodged a complaint that on September 21, his motorcycle (ML-09A-6713) was missing from the parking spot at Bolsalgre, Baghmara.

Threat
Bebi Diengdoh of Umling village in Ri Bhoi lodged a complaint that on May 13, around 3 pm, as the complainant’s driver was proceeding towards Guwahati in a truck (ML-10B-6033), one Fot Phawa snatched Rs 20,000 from the driver of the truck (ML-10B-6033) and threatened with dire consequences. On August 30, around 9 am, the accused called up the truck driver and again threatened him with dire consequences.

B’deshi natl apprehended
On September 19, acting on a tip off that one suspected Bangladeshi national was taking shelter in the house of Sengban M Sangma at Adugachol village in West Garo Hills, police rushed to the place and apprehended one Onisa Chisim of Goprakura village, Mymensing, Bangladesh.

Property damaged
Principal of Shillong College lodged a complaint that on September 19, miscreants destroyed newly-erected boundary pillars at the extended campus of the college in Wahshala, Mawkasiang, under Mawdiangdiang Outpost.

Missing goods
Melambha Langi of Malki Lumbalang, Shillong, lodged a complaint that he was informed on September by his business partner at Ludhiana, Punjab, about some clothing items missing from a parcel which was sent by him to his business partner through GPO Shillong.

Bus seized
On September 22, police intercepted a bus (AS-01-NC-1128) while illegally transporting eighty bags of ‘supari’ (betel nuts) at Byrnihat in Ri Bhoi. Later, police seized the vehicle along with bags of betel nuts.

Theft
Richardson Thubru lodged a complaint that on September 21, around 10 am, one Siankioo Dkhar of Tpep Pale, Jowai, West Jaintia Hills, stole Rs 15,000 from his shop at Ladthadlaboh Jowai.
Rokmem Marak of Lejadubi Kamphabuli village in West Khasi Hills lodged a complaint that on September 17, around 2 am, miscreants stole 24 batteries valued around Rs 1.5 lakh from ATC Site at Kamphabuli village in West Khasi Hills.

Power cable stolen
Siddharth Banerjee of Star Cements Ltd., Lumshnong, East Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on September 18, around 4 pm, an 80-meter-long ‘trailing power cable’ was found missing from the premises of Star Cements at Lumshnong.
