Fresh orders for EKH

SHILLONG, Sep 26: Shops in East Khasi Hills, both essential and non-essential, and other economic activities will be permitted to open six days a week and will close by 7.30 pm, an order on restrictions and relaxations issued by the District Magistrate of East Khasi Hills, said.
Restaurants, cafés, teashops, bars, takeaway services, saloons/beauty parlors and gymnasiums, however, shall close by 8 PM, the order said.
Night curfew in the district, on the other hand, will be promulgated from 10 PM to 5 AM daily barring movement during this time.
All other restrictions and relaxations as well as curfew exemptions issued earlier will continue till further orders.
