Meghalaya State Futsal League gets underway

Shillong, Sep 27: The Meghalaya State Futsal League kicked-off today at the Sports Authority of India campus at NEHU with nine matches being played on the opening day.
The tournament is being organised by the Meghalaya Football Association and will run until 2nd October. A total of 17 teams divided into four groups are comepting in the event.
In the first game, Ryntih draw level with Mawtneng 7-7, while Shillong Lajong put up a clinical performance to defeat Mawtnum 12-6.
Mawkhar claimed an 8-1 win over Western Ri-Bhoi SA, while Mawlai defeated Western Ri-Bhoi United 10-4 . Ryntih came back with a 10-5 victory against Little Star FC.
The other matches saw Pyndengrei edge Sakwang 8-6, Mawkohphet beating Bugara United 12-3.
Niaw Wasa beat Rongkhon SA 13-7 while Little Star Academy snatched a 10-9 win over Mynthong.
