Booklet launch
Meghalaya Director General of Police, R Chandranathan, on Monday launched a booklet ‘COVID-19 Policing the New Normal’ in the presence of senior police officials. A statement in this regard informed that a team of police officials of Meghalaya have compiled the content of the booklet. “The objective of the booklet is to factually analyse the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as to review actions undertaken so far to respond to an ongoing emergency as a means of identifying gaps, lessons and best practices in order to improve the overall response,” the statement said.
