Virtual talk
The Yoga Committee, North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), will organise a virtual lecture on ‘Yoga for Physical and Mental Health’ at 11 am on Saturday. A statement in this regard informed that S-VYASA University Chancellor, Dr. HR Nagendra, will attended the programme as the key speaker. “The event will be graced by the presence of the Vice Chancellor and the Registrar of the University as the chief guest and the guest of honour respectively,” the statement said.

Unclaimed body
A man was found lying in a waiting shed at Umdihar village on September 23. Accordingly, he was admitted to Nongpoh Civil Hospital, following which he passed away on the morning of September 26. His body, after inquest and autopsy, has been kept at the hospital morgue for identification, a statement from the Ri Bhoi Superintendent of Police informed. It was also informed that the man is aged between 35 to 45 years, is 5.6-feet tall, has a swarthy complexion and was found wearing blue-coloured long-sleeve sweatshirt and cotton grey-coloured trousers. Meanwhile, all concerned have been asked to contact 8974220862 or 9366903780 for identification process.
