SHILLONG, Oct 7: Diliengiem SC managed to secure a thrilling 2-1 win over Mawphlang SC in their 4th Division football match at ground 2, JN Sports Complex, on Thursday. Diliengiem scored as early as in the 4th minute with Wankitboklang Peinlang finding the back of the net to give his side the lead. However, it took Mawphlang only six minutes to equalise through Nangteiboklang Kharsohnoh. With the match on level pegging and seeminly heading towards a draw, Honourable Kharmyndai scored Diliengiem’s match-winning goal in the 46th. On Friday, Madan S&CC will play against Laitkroh SC at 3 pm at the same venue.
