Appeal for Class IX exams alongside Class XI in Feb

SHILLONG, Oct 12: The Federation of All School Teachers of Meghalaya has suggested the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) to conduct the examinations for Class IX along with the examination for Class XI in February next year.
In a letter to MBoSE Executive Chairman on Tuesday, the president of the organisation, Kenneth Shadap, said that due to the pandemic, it was difficult for most schools to complete the syllabus of Classes IX within the stipulated time.
“Therefore, we would like to place before your kind consideration to conduct this exam together with class XI by the first week of February 2022, so that the teachers may be able to complete their courses for the benefit of the students,” Shadap said.
