SHILLONG, Oct 13: Urging the people not to lower their guard against COVID-19 during the festive season and the upcoming by-elections, the Opposition Congress on Wednesday said that it will not allow the elections to be the reason for COVID-19 spread in Meghalaya.
Amidst the festive season and the elections just around the corner, the threat of the viral infection remains though there has been a decline in the new COVID cases in the state recently.
