Cattle seized
Coy Commander, F-Coy, 30 Bn BSF BOP Lyngkhat, EKH, lodged a complaint that on October 11 around 6.45 am, BSF personnel recovered three heads of cattle from Nayabazar (EKH).
Inspector T Maring, Coy Commander, C-coy 30 Bn BSF lodged a complaint that October 9 around 1 pm, BSF patrol party detected 11 heads of cattle in the ‘General Area’ of BP No. 1279 MP along Indo-Bangladesh Border, WJH.

Arms seized
On October 10, acting on inputs that some NDFB surrenderees are likely to deliver arms consignment at Siju Area, SGH, police conducted operation and arrested three persons, viz. Kamal Khaklary (35) of Kushdhwa village, Goalpara, Assam, Abhijeet Basumatary alias Nonga (23) of Buglamary village, Goalpara, Assam and Jamejoy Basumatary alias Supru (34) of Bandorsi village, Goalpara, Assam from one Maruti car at Siju-Adura, SGH, and also recovered four 7.65mm pistols and seven rounds of 7.65mm live ammunition from their possession.

Milestone dismantled
Assistant Executive Engineer, PWD (Roads) Jowai-Khanduli Sub-Division, Nartiang, WJH, lodged a complaint that on August 10, 2021 unknown persons dismantled one milestone at Jowai-Khanduli Road. Following this, a new milestone was erected on Sep 27, 2021 at the same place, but on October 2, the milestone was again dismantled/stolen by unknown persons.
