MoU for faster delivery of EPICs

SHILLONG, Oct 25: The Chief Electoral Officer and Department of Posts (DoP), Government of Meghalaya, on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for delivery of Electors Photo Identity Cards (EPICs) and various notices through speed post services on mutually agreed-upon terms.
As per the MoU, the Post Master General will provide facilities available under the speed post services for booking, transmission and doorstep delivery of EPICs.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Chief Electoral Officer, FR Kharkongor, and Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Meghalaya, Jyoti Meena, on behalf of Chief Post Master General of Meghalaya at Meghalaya Secretariat (Additional Building), Shillong.
