SHILLONG, Nov 4: The Cherry Blossom Festival in Shillong is all set to make a comeback this year as another tumultuous year continues to draw to a close.
This year’s event will be held from November 25 to 27.
Umpteen competitions including singing, fashion shows etc., will be organised during the three-day event.
Just a few years since its conceptualisation, the Cherry Blossom Festival has become a hit in Shillong drawing a large footfall of visitors every year.
In 2020, however, the festival was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, too, took to Twitter to express his thoughts about the upcoming festival.
