2nd & 3rd Division Football: Nongkseh thrash Lawmali

SHILLONG, Nov 12: Nongkseh SC put up an impressive performance, thrashing Lawmali Pyllun SC 4-0 in a Second Division football match here on Friday. Tony Syngkli added his name to the scoresheet in the 20th minute to hand Nongkseh the lead before Shubham (36′), Balajop Rumnong (47′) and Zion Kharjana (70′) scored a goal each to see their side finish the match on a high. In a Third Division match, Nongrah SC and Mawtawar SC played out a 1-1 draw. Nongrah took a 28th minute lead through Kynsaibor Wankhar before Ronaldo Rangslang equalised for Mawtawar in the 70th minute. On Saturday, the Third Division games will see Rynjah SC face Mawpat SC at 12 pm and Gorkha Association take on Sanmer SC at 2:15 pm.
