Tear gas shells used to control crowd at Cherry Blossom Fest

SHILLONG, Nov 26: Chaos broke out at the entrance of the Cherry Blossom Festival in Polo here on Friday evening with a heavy rush being reported at the entrance. According to sources, three rounds of tear gas shells  were fired to tame the unruly crowd.
