Women football natls: Meghalaya lose to Manipur

Shillong, Nov 28: Meghalaya lost their opening fixture of the women’s National Football Championship to Manipur 4-0 in Kuthuparamba, Kerala, today. Meghalaya conceded twice in stoppage time with Roja Devi and Mandakini Devi scoring. Yangoijam Kiranbala Chanu made it 3-0 less than 10 minutes into the second half and Thingbaijam Babysana Devi added the fourth in the 81st minute for Manipur.
