Shillong, Nov 30: Arunachal Pradesh and Assam played out a goalless draw in the second match of Group A in the men’s Senior National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy, here on Tuesday. Arunachal Pradesh created several opportunities in the latter half of the game but were unable to capitalise on their chances. Assam’s Milan Basumatary, who scored both goals for Assam against hosts Meghalaya, ws unable to create any magic. Meghalaya face Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday, at 2 pm in their last fixture.
