SHILLONG, Dec 3: A day after the demand for nominated MDC from Ri Bhoi in KHADC was raised, UDP general secretary, Jemino Mawthoh, has said that all nominated posts in the Council are full to the brim.
Mawthoh also made it clear that the party will soon nominate leaders from Ri Bhoi as there has been no MDC representation from the district in quite some time. “I want to assure that the party leadership would focus to strengthen the party in the district,” he added. On Thursday, a UDP leader from Ri Bhoi had demanded that there should be a nominated MDC in the KHADC from Ri Bhoi since there is no party representation from the district.
