TURA, Dec 4: Cabinet Minister James Sangma on Friday inaugurated a newly constructed building of Karukol Higher Secondary School at Karukol village in South Garo Hills. The new school building has been funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) under the project, Supporting Human Capital Development.
Speaking during the inauguration, James spoke about the importance of education and a plethora of opportunities it can bring for the people of the area.
The inaugural function was also attended by Rongara-Siju MLA, Rakkam A Sangma, Deputy Commissioner FM Dopth, Director of Higher and Technical Education, A Ch Marak, et al.
