Construction of entry-exit gates on hold

SHILLONG, Dec 9: The state government has kept the construction of entry-exit gates at locations other than Umling in abeyance following the high court’s observation that order regulating the entry of Indian citizens may not be exercised.

Others are of the opinion that these SPTS buses and Maxi Cabs should not have been run as Government properties and with Government registration.
