Halla Bol, Keating Road, Royal CC register convincing victories

SHILLONG, Dec 21: Halla Bol Jr, Keating Road and Royal CC came out on top on day five of the 9th Ardhendu Chaudhuri Memorial Invitational Tennis Day & Night Cricket Tournament organised by the Rilbong Sports Club, with convincing victories, here on Tuesday.
PSWS Municipal won the toss and elected to bat first against Halla Bol Jr, scoring 24 runs in 6 overs. Halla Bol chased down the target in only 2.4 overs to win by 6 wickets. Rahul Shah was adjudged Player of the Match.
Keating Road batted first against Sri Balaji after winning the toss and smashed 63 runs in 6 overs before restricting Sri Balaji to 38 runs in 6 overs. Player of the Match was Krishna Thapa.
Later, Royal CC also registered a convincing 6-wicket victory over Aamra Kaara. Aamra Kaara batted first after winning the toss and posted a meager 6 runs in 3.4 overs. Royal CC then chased down the target in 1 over to win by 6 wickets. Andrew Sangma won the Player of the Match award.
