Covid vaccination for age group 15-18 begins in Tura

TURA, Jan 3: With Covid-19 vaccination of youths aged between 15 and 18 being launched Nationwide on Monday, the vaccination drive was also held in Tura at Matchakolgre UP School adjacent to the Tura Law College.

There was however, no official function to mark the launching of the vaccination drive. Many youths were seen thronging the vaccination site and lining up to get their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

It is worth mentioning that the current vaccination campaign requires no prior registration and interested youths can just visit the site and get their shots on the spot.
