Trap-Star beat Dare Devils by 55 runs

SHILLONG, Jan 3: Trap-Star Utd, Super Kings and Sales XI came out on top in their respective matches of the 9th Ardhendu Chaudhuri Memorial Invitational Tennis Ball Day & Night Cricket Tournament, here on Monday.
In the first match, Trap-Star won the toss and chose to bat against Dare Devils, scoring 88 runs in 6 overs.
Dare Devils could only manage 33 runs in the allotted overs. Pragat Singh was awarded the Player-of-the-Match.
Later in the day, RS&CC fielded first after winning the toss against Super Kings, who then posted 74 runs in 6 overs.
RS&CC came close but were restricted to 65 runs in 6 overs. Pritam Singh was the Player-of-the-Match.
In the last match of the day, Sales XI won the toss and fielded first against Harisabha Young Brigade, restricting them to 47 runs in 6 overs.
In reply, Sales XI knocked off 50 runs in 5.5 overs with 2 wickets to spare. Pinku Deb was adjudged Player-of-the-Match.
